WEBB Middle East took part of the 2013 UNPS forum in Bahrain
WEBB International Middle East had the privilege to be part of the First UNPS Forum in the Middle East The 2013 United Nations Public Service Forum, Day and Awards Ceremony. Kingdom of Bahrain from 24 to 27 June 2013 The United Nations Public Service Awards help identify and celebrate innovations in fighting poverty and promoting sustainable development. The Forum and Awards were under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa , and hosted by the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and organized by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs Division for Public Administration and Development Management in partnership with UN-Women, UNESCWA and UNIDO-ITPO Bahrain.This year’s theme was “Transformative e-Government and Innovation: Creating a Better Future for All." WEBB International Middle East was pleased to be part of the workshop : "Creating an Enabling Environment for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development through Innovation" .. www.unpsforum.bh/speakers-workshop5.php In this Global meeting Ms.Rim Siam, Chairman of WEBB International Middle East, had the privilege as an international attendee and invited speaker, to share with some of the world’s leaders a dynamic plenary panel discussion entitled “Entrepreneurs Debate" organized by UNIDO-ITPO Bahrain . Speakers explored, debated and shared their objectives and initiatives with participants . Ms.Siam delivered a presentation about WEBB International Middle East's initiative "20000 by 2020 " and discussed Empowering leaders through Education, Collaboration, and Innovation . She shared her thoughts and promoted the objectives of WEBB. The conference brought together over 700 attendees from all over the world, including high-level United Nations (UN) officials and representatives of Bahrain, world leaders, ministers, senior government officials, mayors, representatives from civil society, academia, the private sector, as well as international and regional organizations. The Conference was a perfect hub for networking. It was truly an amazing experience.
